Lydia Badia stands as a distinguished member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and an active participant of The Rhinoplasty Society of Europe. Within the realm of academia, Ms. Badia is renowned for her regular contributions at both national and international conferences. Her scholarly work extends to publishing articles within her sphere of expertise and authoring chapters for textbooks.

Originally from Spain, Ms. Badia has been a resident and practitioner in London since 1990. She is recognized as one of the United Kingdom’s foremost specialists in rhinoplasty and facial surgery. Ms. Badia completed her medical education at Barcelona Medical School, followed by extensive higher surgical training across several esteemed North London Teaching Hospitals, including Charing Cross Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital, and the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital. She successfully passed the Intercollegiate Board Examination across all four Royal Colleges in 1999 and received her certificate of completion of specialist training from the Specialist Training Authority of the Medical Royal Colleges, accredited by the Specialist Advisory Committee in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

In 2001, Lydia Badia was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, the premier National Postgraduate Teaching Hospital in the UK in her field. Her expertise in rhinoplasty and facial surgery has led her to contribute significantly to global conferences. In addition to reviewing scientific papers prior to their publication, Ms. Badia also engages in medico-legal work as an expert in septorhinoplasty surgery.

Ms. Badia is celebrated for her approachable and genuine demeanor towards her patients, endeavoring always to understand their concerns fully before embarking on any surgical enhancement.
