Just to refresh your memory, I had a rhinoplasty last March 2012. We last emailed in May but haven’t spoken since.

It is just over a year now since the op, and I wanted to tell you I couldn’t be happier with the results, both functionally and aesthetically. The past year has been a dream being able to breathe properly, and I’m delighted with how my nose looks.

You told me that it takes a full year for the nose to heel internally so I just thought I’d let you know at this point how pleased I am with the success of it, and say thank you once more for achieving exactly what I wanted.

Breathing beautifully

Rhinoplasty was one of the biggest decisions of my life! Therefore choosing the right surgeon was a must. Fortunately I did by having my rhino/septoplasty with Lydia Badia. She was outstanding in her skill and patient care. I can’t recommend her enough!

How lovely to hear from you. Gemma’s doing really well thank you and is absolutely loving her new nose – she’s really struggling not to look at it all of the time but doing her best!!! She’s not sleeping too well at the moment as she’s worried about squishing her nose during the night but I’m sure that she’ll settle down soon, especially when she’s back to college and having to get up at 6.30am HaHa!!

The new nose had its own private view to a discreet gathering of friends and family and like me they were in awe at what you had achieved. It’s not just a nose, it’s a work of art, it’s a sculpture! There was never a doubt that my new nose was a good one. But seeing these pictures and having a direct comparison, leaves me at a loss for words. Meeting you and feeling like I had found the person to finally take this step with, is without a doubt the best thing that has ever happened to me.

It is incredible how the way we feel inside about about a physical attribute such as a nose, truly does dictate how we behave and think, and how having an insecurity lifted can actually make us a different person.
