Revision Rhinoplasty
Nose Correction with Expert Revision Rhinoplasty
At Rhinoplasty London, Charles East and Lydia Badia offer unparalleled expertise in Revision Rhinoplasty, catering to patients seeking corrections from previous surgeries that did not meet their expectations. They acknowledge the challenges and complexity this procedure entails, being more intricate than a primary rhinoplasty. Recognising the emotional and physical impact of an unsatisfactory outcome, they emphasise a mandatory waiting period of twelve months post-primary surgery to ensure complete healing and settling of tissues before considering revision.
Their approach is comprehensive, sometimes necessitating the use of grafts from the patient’s ear cartilage or rib to achieve optimal structural and aesthetic results. The clinic’s portfolio demonstrates their ability to significantly improve and correct unsatisfactory outcomes, offering a beacon of hope for those disillusioned by their current nasal appearance.
With a focus on transforming and elevating patient satisfaction, Rhinoplasty London stands as a premier destination for those seeking meticulous, patient-centered Revision Rhinoplasty.

What Our Patients Say
Frequently Asked Questions
What Is the Difference Between Rhinoplasty and Revision Rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty, commonly referred to as a “nose job,” is a surgical procedure to change the shape or function of the nose. Revision rhinoplasty, however, is a secondary or subsequent surgery performed to correct or improve the results of a previous rhinoplasty. It is typically considered more complex due to the alterations and scar tissue from the initial operation.
How Long Should I Wait Before Considering a Revision Rhinoplasty?
It is generally recommended to wait at least one year after your initial rhinoplasty procedure before considering revision surgery. This time allows your nose to fully heal and for all swelling to subside, giving you a clear picture of any issues that may need addressing.
What Are the Common Reasons for Undergoing Revision Rhinoplasty?
Common reasons for revision rhinoplasty include dissatisfaction with the appearance of the nose after the initial surgery, breathing difficulties, structural issues, or complications that have arisen as a result of the first procedure.
Is Revision Rhinoplasty More Complicated Than First-Time Rhinoplasty?
Yes, Revision Rhinoplasty is often more complicated than first-time rhinoplasty. This is due to factors such as scar tissue, changes in nasal anatomy, and the need for more precise adjustments. Surgeons performing revision rhinoplasty generally require specialized expertise and a tailored approach.
Can Revision Rhinoplasty Achieve the Results I Initially Wanted?
While Revision Rhinoplasty aims to correct issues from the first surgery and work towards the patient’s desired outcome, it’s important to maintain realistic expectations. Each surgical procedure has its limits, and the extent of the improvements possible will depend on individual circumstances — such as skin thickness, scar tissue, and the structure of the nasal bones and cartilage. A board-certified surgeon with extensive experience in revision rhinoplasty can offer the best insight into what can be achieved in your particular case.
